A Certificate of Completion is mandatory when applying for a new driver’s licence in Uganda. The Certificate of Completion is obtained after successfully completing the necessary driving training session as required by law.
Before applying for a new driver’s license in Uganda, one of the key requirements and which as a must, has to be attached to your application is the Certificate of Completion, and which must be issued from a licensed driving school.
The Certificate of Competence which is issued by the Police IOV proves that the learner, the learners driving permit holder, has undertaken a full course of training on how to safely drive. This Certificate of Completion must be presented at the Inspectorate of vehicles (testing center) with a test fee URA Payment in order for one to be tested in order to obtain a Certificate of Competence which is issued by the Police IOV.
